Crew member chatting with a customer in their doorway. Clipboard or phone in hand, friendly body language. Mid-conversation, authentic. Not a posed handshake. Daylight.
Service & scheduling
Often yes, especially if you book before noon. Tuesday through Friday tend to have the most same-day slots open. Use the quote form and we'll text you confirmation within a couple of hours.
Single items welcome. Our minimum charge is $129. That covers one couch, one mattress, one fridge, plus whatever fits around it. No trip charge.
Yes. We've done full estates, post-eviction cleanouts, and homes that were lived in for 60+ years. We work respectfully, on your schedule, and we don't judge.
All the time. We have certificates of insurance ready for management offices in Albany, Schenectady, Troy, and Saratoga. Just tell us the building.
Pricing
By volume, not weight. We charge by how much of the truck you fill, from a single item ($129) up to a full 15-yard load ($549). Pricing is on the Pricing page so you know what to expect before we show up.
No. No trip charges, no fuel surcharges, no stair fees, no 'heavy item' fees. The quote we give is the price you pay. We get this question a lot because some of the national chains aren't transparent about this.
We're typically 10 to 15% cheaper for the same volume, and we don't hide the prices. We're a small local outfit. Lower overhead means a better rate for you.
What we take
Paint, chemicals (cleaners, solvents, pool chemicals), tires, batteries, and hazardous waste (asbestos, medical, raw sewage). The Services page lists all of these with where to take them instead.
What can be donated, gets donated (Habitat ReStore, local thrift). Metal goes to a Capital Region scrapper. Electronics go to a certified e-waste recycler. Yard waste goes to a composting facility when possible. Only what truly can't be reused or recycled goes to the transfer station.
Yes. We've seen worse. Bag the food, leave the doors taped shut if you want. We've got it from there. The freon gets professionally evacuated either way.
Yes, that's our minimum-charge zone. Snap a photo of what's out there and we'll quote it in one reply.
How it works
No. We haul from wherever it sits. Basement, attic, second floor, the shed in the back. Full-service is the whole point.
15 cubic yards, which fits the contents of an average two-car garage. Big enough for most jobs, small enough to fit down a normal driveway.
You don't, as long as we know what's going and can access it. We'll send photos before we leave so you can confirm.
Snap photos of the pile, the room, or the items, send them through the Quote page, and we'll send back an exact price within a couple hours. Skips the 'rough estimate over the phone' guessing game.
Trust & safety
Yes. General liability and commercial auto. If you'd like to see the certificate, we'll email it before the job. Many property managers ask for this and we make it easy.
Background-checked crew in marked shirts and a marked truck. We'll text the name and a photo of who's coming before they arrive.
Walls happen. We carry general liability. If we ding something, we either fix it or pay for the repair. Has happened twice in two years. Both got resolved the same week.

Atmospheric overhead-ish shot of an empty cleaned-out room: hardwood floor, sunlight streaming through an open door, gentle motion in the air. Low saturation, calm. Designed to overlay with dark gradient. The 'after' feeling.
