Call first
Heavy or specialty? Give John a ring.
Not a no — just a quick conversation. These either push past the 1-ton cap or need a different approach than tossing them in the trailer.
(518) 248-7042Concrete, brick, or dirt (heavy materials — call before booking)
Hot tubs (need to be cut up on site)
Pianos (specialty equipment to move)
Pool tables with slate
Anything you're not sure fits the trailer
Won't go in the trailer
These need a specialty handler.
Mostly because the transfer station won't accept them. Most have free local drop-offs — we'll point you the right direction.
Paint
Latex paint can be solidified at home and tossed in regular trash; oil-based has to go to a household hazardous waste event. Albany and Saratoga counties run free drop-offs a few times a year.
Chemicals
Cleaners, solvents, pool chemicals, propane tanks. These need a household hazardous waste facility.
Tires
Tires need a tire-specific recycler. Most local shops will take them for a small fee.
Batteries
Lithium, car batteries, sealed lead-acid. Fire risk in the trailer. AutoZone, Battery+, and most auto-parts stores take them free.
Hazardous Waste
Asbestos, medical waste, raw sewage. These need licensed specialty handlers, not a dump trailer.
Doing this for work?
Property managers, contractors, real-estate cleanouts — bigger jobs and recurring work need a quick conversation first.
Not sure if it fits?
Send a photo or call.
Easier to size a load from a photo than from a description. We'll tell you straight if your stuff fits the trailer.
