Garage cleanouts are our most-booked scenario after estate work. The typical Capital Region two-car garage holds a decade of bicycles, paint cans, broken lawn equipment, a treadmill no one uses, holiday decorations from three previous houses, and a workbench that's accumulated everything anyone walked past it with. We empty garages in two passes. First pass moves out everything that's clearly disposable: broken stuff, decade-old chemicals, expired anything. Second pass walks through the gray-area items with you (keep, donate, or dump?). We separate hazardous items (old paint, pool chemicals, propane tanks) and tell you exactly where to take them locally. Most have a free drop-off. Tools in good shape get evaluated for donation to local maker spaces and Habitat ReStore. Bikes that still have life get routed to a Capital Region bike co-op that refurbishes and donates to kids. Most single-car garage cleanouts take 90 minutes. Most double-car garage cleanouts take 2 to 3 hours.
