Renovation projects generate a specific kind of mess: heavy, mixed, and on a deadline. We handle construction and demolition (C&D) debris for both contractors and homeowners taking on bigger projects. Tear-out drywall, plaster and lath, framing lumber, hardwood floor boards, ceramic tile and thin-set, vinyl flooring, carpet pad, cabinets, countertops, cast-iron tubs and porcelain toilets. We load it all. For contractors, we're a cleaner alternative to a 30-yard roll-off dumpster: same volume capacity for less money on most residential jobs, no permit needed, and the debris is gone within hours rather than sitting in a driveway for a week. Lumber in good condition gets evaluated for our local reuse network (Habitat ReStore takes structural lumber, dimensional pieces, and most cabinetry). Metal-heavy demo gets sorted on the truck and routed to a Capital Region scrapper rather than the transfer station. We pull permits if needed for jobs that require formal C&D manifests (commercial work). We're insured for contractor sites and can provide a Certificate of Insurance to your GC or property manager before we start.

What we don't
  • Asbestos-containing materials. Needs licensed abatement.

How it goes

The construction debris removal process.

For contractors: we can schedule a truck on standby for end-of-day pickup. For DIY: stage the pile in a driveway or garage, we load and haul. We sort on the truck for scrap metal recovery and reusable lumber.

Pricing

Construction Debris Removal pricing.

Most renovation cleanouts hit a 1/2 ($349) or 3/4 truck ($449). Full 15-yard truck for a full-room demo is $549. Typically a few hundred less than a roll-off dumpster for the equivalent volume.

FAQ

Common questions.

How is the price calculated?
By volume, not weight. We charge by how much of the truck you fill, from a single item ($129) up to a full 15-yard load ($549). Pricing is on the Pricing page so you know what to expect before we show up.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. No trip charges, no fuel surcharges, no stair fees, no 'heavy item' fees. The quote we give is the price you pay. We get this question a lot because some of the national chains aren't transparent about this.
How do you compare to 1-800-GOT-JUNK and College Hunks?
We're typically 10 to 15% cheaper for the same volume, and we don't hide the prices. We're a small local outfit. Lower overhead means a better rate for you.
Can you come the same day?
Often yes, especially if you book before noon. Tuesday through Friday tend to have the most same-day slots open. Use the quote form and we'll text you confirmation within a couple of hours.
What if I just have one or two things?
Single items welcome. Our minimum charge is $129. That covers one couch, one mattress, one fridge, plus whatever fits around it. No trip charge.

Why us

The honest side-by-side.

Worth knowing before you book. We're not always the cheapest, but we're the most predictable. Surprise charges are how people end up hating hauling companies.
